Jake was born on the 1^st of April 1986.  Now, aged 19, he is full of ambition and promise.  He has been interested in music from a very early age and has grown up with a very musically orientated family.  Both his mother and father are musicians, from which Jake has gained a wealth of knowledge. His parents had varied tastes in music. His father plays everything from Flamenco and Classical, through to old school rock from the likes of Iron Maiden and Motorhead to more progressive elements such as Pink Floyd and the Pink Fairies. Whereas his mother was very much into the New Romantics scene, listening to bands such as Depeche Mode, Duran Duran and the Petshop Boys, along with Punk bands such as the Clash and the Sex Pistols.

Jake has mixed the influences above with his own tastes, ranging from Indie to Metal, through to Hardcore and EMO.   Think of Papa Roach, Linkin Park, Avril Lavigne, Green Day, My Chemical Romance and Eminem mixed with the influences above, and you get a very energetic and fun brand of music with a hard hitting sound that never fails to get people moving. 

             Outside of music Jake’s other passion is Surfing.  He enjoys the freedom and the tranquillity it brings, and spends as much time as possible down on the coast riding the waves.

                 Jake currently fronts a band called Appropriate Agent, who play mainly in North and East London.  He always manages to put on an explosive performance with fire and passion.   He always manages to get people dancing, even though they have not heard his songs before.   A comment we often hear is “I don’t normally like that type of music, but I loved what you were doing.”   He is a natural born front man and has a spark about him that is reminiscent of great performers such as Robbie Williams and Ozzy Osbourne.
